Causes of bad breath

Bad breath (Halitosis) is very common among individuals originating in the mouth. Nasal problems are the main causes of bad breath. They can be easily diagnosed by comparing the existing odor in the nose and the mouth. The other factors are insufficient oral hygiene or dietary predilections. The gastrointestinal tract is not that much responsible for causing chronic bad breath.

There are reports that many people suffer from halitophobia, the fear of suffering from bad breath. Again there are millions who doesn't give much importance to their own bad breath. Halitosis is becoming more and more important in dental treatments.

The management of halitosis is carried out effectively and efficiently to attract more and more new patients. Agliophobia i.e. fear of pain is perhaps the most important factor which holds back people from seeking dental treatments. If the problem of bad breath can be controlled then more people will be attracted towards dental treatments.

Some useful tips for preventing bad breath
  • Always brush your teeth after breakfast and dinner
