Toothache remedies


Toothache is pain or soreness around a tooth, representing inflammation and potential infection. Generally a toothache occurs if tooth decay permeates the pulp chamber. This pulp chamber includes the nerves and tiny blood vessels. Immediate dental treatment is necessary in case of toothaches. Immediate treatment is required in cases of toothache. A sharp, aching pain is normally permanent, and remedies can only get rid of the pain temporarily, does not cure it. Maintenance of proper oral hygiene can help in prevention of toothache. It is highly recommended to brush your teeth after every meal and snack intake.

Below are some tips to get relief you from your toothache :

  • While lying down the blood goes to the head which causes the toothache to pain more. Keeping your head slightly raised may reduce the degree of pain.

  2. Any pain however small should never be neglected. The problem may be not so serious before it becomes a severe toothache. A sharp pain felt on chewing some food may indicate a decay or crack in the tooth.
  3. Any pain during the treatment should be reported to the dentists. In such a situation proper measures are taken to make you calm.
  4. Brush your teeth at least twice daily especially before going to bed. Take care of your teeth by going for regular check-ups.
